Parental Alienation – European Court of Human Rights decision
The recent decision of the European Court of Human Rights in Pisică v Republic of Moldova has addressed procedural delay, an issue that unfortunately features in almost every alienation or high conflict case, which compounds destruction in already fraught circumstances. The applicant (“NG”), a non-custodial mother, was awarded €12,000 in non-pecuniary damages because the “domestic authorities did not act with the exceptional diligence required of them.
